Whats  a Youth Champion?

Being a group of Young People, we are not always able to or allowed to attend some meetings or groups, So we decided to interview for a Youth Champion.

This is an elected Councillor who can represent the views of Young People to the wider Council and Community!

Your Youth Champion Is Concillor Hook    

So far he has helped us to get free bus travel to and from all of our GYC meetings and he has helped young people to develop the Leesland Skate Park with money from the Youth Opportunity Fund. Young people were successful in gaining £40,000, have a look on the Leesland page for more info!
